  does anyone here think the jws or rather the watchtower started off in those early days as genuine religious teachers and only became corrupt when rutherford took over as president.. qca1

  He was surely right about the higher powers and all dat otter stuff yous moderns is rejecting. Maybe ye shall repentith of thine sin and suffer Him into thine heart.

  You think that because Rutterford was mad and drunk that he came up with no good ideas! I is not trying to remind yous that the great crowd cames about in the year 1935 according to our lord. What is you thinking about that?

  Causing 'Chaos' @ District Conventions ....

  celtic here.. i realise many of you are not yet upto scratch on downright going for the society, that's cool.. for those of you more radical activists out there, what better possible manner in which to cause major disruption and to teach something of our aims to a potential massive audience, than to attend a district convention near you.. saucepans and sticks don't half make one hell of a din.. digital cameras are cool too to record all activity and to possibly edit later on for possible leverage with media bodies interested in the event etc.. the point is, is to have a watertight angle on which to go in on, to cause the best possible effect to our strategic advantage.

  that means imforming the media of our presence in advance plus many other initiatives that will be described as part of a longer post on this subject tomorrow.. take a leaf out of the uk road protesters and anti global capitalists book, they could teach us a thing or two.. so who's up from you bunch of slackers, for causing major disruptions this year?

  i heard from a sister in vienna that at the summer convention there is going to be an announcement about the fact that the un are setting up something to do with combatting religious fundamentalism in the wake of the terrorist attacks in america.

  it seems they are going to suggest that this indicates the fulfilling of prophesy and that this shows that the end is near.

  i don't know if it is true, but that is what i heard.. beaten, corrupted, dying.

  Last night's bookstudy / Questions about 1919

  last night's bookstudy again focused on the date of 1919 and how it was proof that god's favor was directed towards the bible students.

  this week the wts compared themselves to the jews when they were released from babylon.

  basically they talked about how the jews were discplined by jehovah when babylon destroyed jerusalem and took them hostage.
